Stage 1 · Diagnose
What failed, and why it failed.
Four services for homes and small businesses, all diagnosed before being quoted.
Most summer failures are a capacitor, a clogged drain, a dirty coil or a contactor — hundreds rather than thousands. We diagnose first and quote the repair, and if a replacement is genuinely the better value we will show you the arithmetic rather than the brochure.
What failed, and why it failed.
Quoted before replacement is discussed.
With the arithmetic shown.
No pressure either way.
For this building, not the old unit.
Equipment and warranty terms explained.
Pulled and inspection scheduled.
Charge and airflow verified, not assumed.
Replacing a three-ton unit with a three-ton unit is not sizing, it is copying a decision somebody made decades ago. An oversized system cools fast, short-cycles and leaves the house cold and clammy, because it never runs long enough to pull humidity out. We calculate, and permits are pulled.
In Florida humidity, a blocked condensate drain is the commonest cause of both breakdowns and ceiling damage, and it is entirely preventable. Plans cover cleaning, drain clearing and checks before the season, which is cheaper than the emergency call in July.
Before the heat, not during it.
Coils, drains and filters.
Charge, airflow and electrical.
What needs watching, honestly.
Where the air is actually going.
Leakage repaired at the joints.
Airflow adjusted room by room.
Verified, not assumed.
A correctly sized system fed by leaking attic ducts delivers a fraction of its capacity into the house and the rest into the attic. Before anyone sells you a bigger unit for the room that never cools, the ducts are worth testing — the answer is frequently there.
A free second opinion, including whether a repair would get you a few more seasons.
